As you can tell from our sunrise photos, we love the beach. And as we’ve developed the artistic themes in our home, one that has caught our attention is the exotic mermaid art style. Mermaid art is actually quite striking and beautiful. Over the centuries, mermaids have been portrayed in a number of ways, including playful, sexy, stunning, inquisitive, mysterious and mischievious. Fantasy mermaid art range from the magical to the erotic.
One of the most famous mermaid paintings is A Mermaid by John William Waterhouse, created in 1900.
Another artist that has caught our eye is Amy Brown. Amy creates beautiful fantasy art. Her mermaid artwork is very striking and original.
