In setting our goals for 2008, one goal we both feel passionate about is that we want to be of service to others. That’s what gives us tremendous joy and the fact that we can do it together is even more exhilarating. This week, two articles presented themselves to us via email and both reaffirm this goal. The first article I received was a daily “Insight of the Day” that comes early each morning to our email. It was addressing Psychic Income vs Material Income and stated that:
“Every single one of us has a deep need to contribute, to give something back, to be part of something meaningful, and that’s how you and I are going to define our psychic income. Your psychic income is the most important income you will ever, ever receive.”
That really resonates with us and we will continue to put forth actions to increase our Psychic Income. The other article came from the website thinkarete.com, sent to us by mom. We clicked on one of the “big ideas” that we are trying to define for ourselves. It was titled “Follow your Bliss” and simply stated the following:
“Three words: 1. Follow. 2. Your. 3. Bliss. Key words: “bliss” and “your.” Not someone else’s idea of your bliss. Not what you think should be your bliss. Not what you think would impress the crowd or appease the family. YOUR bliss. What truly gets you giddy. Oh yeah, “follow” is kinda important as well. Get off your behind and go out there and follow your bliss!”
We know that our bliss truly comes from helping others solve their problems, so it was reinforcement for me. Now, in 2008 we encourage you to find your bliss and follow it, it will also help you increase your psychic income.
