At 5 p.m., sitting in our St. Johns home, we’re starting to see consistently powerful gusts and a lot of rain as Fay finally makes her way ashore near Flagler Beach. A recent sunrise trip to Mickler’s Landing in Jacksonville, Florida brought us this delightful sight. While the actual sunrise was hidden by clouds on the horizon, the rays of the sun peeked through openings in the clouds.
