We’ve been pretty busy during March learning more about the Build a Niche Business Stores. And we’ve learned quite a bit plus learned that there’s quite a bit more to learn. We’ve also become quite adept at searching through E-Bay for cool niches that we can develop into stores. Here’s a list of our current stores:

The Popcorn Popper Shop (www.popcornpoppershop.com)
Our first store is starting to pick up visitors from Google and we recently had a sale. It’s pretty exciting to see our efforts pay off a bit. We’ve learned a lot from this store; one important thing is that building traffic takes time and patience.
We’ve applying what we learned to our newer stores:

All Things Tiki (www.allthingstiki.com)
This store sells Tiki-related items like Tiki Bars, Tiki Carvings, Tiki Art, and Tiki Torches. Eventually, we’ll promote books and music with the Tiki themes. Like The Popcorn Popper Shop, we’ll add some articles to help with our search engine efforts.
The Margarita Maker (www.themargaritamaker.com)
Totally dedicated to…you guessed it…Margaritas. This site will promote the home machines that make making Margaritas easy and fun. We also include Margarita Glasses. Eventually, we’ll post Margarita recipes and other fun stuff.
Bargain 1st Cars in Jacksonville (www.bargain1stcarsjacksonville.com)
This site will promote used cars in the Jacksonville area under $10,000. Basically, we wanted to have a site that teens and college students can visit to find used cars at an affordable price. We started the preliminary store this week and will develop it further in the coming weeks.
Two other sites that we’ve purchased domain names for are:
CamerasForPhotography.com
This will be a broad category store selling cameras. Not quite a niche, but something that will be fun to do and a subject that we’re pretty familiar with.
VintageScouts.com
This store came to us while we were looking for something else. We spotted several vintage Boy Scout and Girl Scout items on E-Bay (old pocket knives, uniforms, dolls, etc.) On a whim, we went over to GoDaddy.com to see if we could pick up a suitable name. And VintageScouts.com was available. In the next week we’ll build this store out.
We’ll let everyone know how these stores work out. And we’ll start reporting on what we’re learning to attract traffic and promote sales.

You are doing a great job with your BANS. I need to do some more work on my Jax Cell Phones
and my Mustang Power Cars site.
Need to get more traffic going. SEO is number 1 priority.
We need to get together and discuss some ideas. If you don’t mind I a going to put links to your sites on my BANS. I understand backlinks are very important.
Thanks Traci and Rolando. Your BANs sites look pretty good as well.
